In January 2007 Peter was promoted to Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne, Department of Medicine (Dermatology), at St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. Professor Foley has been a Visiting Dermatologist at St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne since 1998 in the Dermatology Investigation, Photobiology and Biological Therapy Clinics. He has also been a Visiting Dermatologist at the Skin & Cancer Foundation (Vic) in the Skin Cancer Assessment, Phototherapy and Photodynamic Therapy Clinics since 2001. He has over 40 publications in peer reviewed journals and is the Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and is currently a member of the Skin & Cancer Foundation (Vic) Board.
